Exhibition main contractor, Exhibit 3Sixty, introduced ‘Grid Live’, a new web-based stand electrics tracking tool at NHS ConfedExpo 2025, held at Manchester Central on 11–12 June 2025.

The platform provides a live view of the power status of every block and stand on the show floor, helping to speed up fault finding, reduce delays, and improve efficiency by streamlining communications between the service desk and electricians during build-up and handover.

The system uses a traffic light interface to indicate each stand’s status: red highlights any known issues, amber indicates that stand equipment is installed and ready for testing, and green indicates that the stand has been tested and switched on. Because it is browser-based, it can be checked from any internet-connected device.

Speaking about the tool’s first deployment, Sam Pearce, commercial manager at Exhibit 3Sixty, explained, “Grid Zone will now be a standard on all shows where Exhibit 3Sixty is the main contractor, and it will continue to evolve as part of our organiser offering. Having developed this in-house it means we can refine and adapt it to meet the specific needs of each show.”

Pearce continued, “A system that ran invisibly behind the scenes was an important step that allowed us to service exhibitors quickly and accurately. We also wanted to develop a system that would make the setup process smoother for our electricians. So, to hear their positive feedback after the show cemented that we are heading in the right direction.”

Exhibit 3Sixty delivered 18 feature areas and four space-only stands at this year’s show, alongside installation of all shell scheme, carpet, graphics and furniture. The 2025 edition was significantly larger than the 2024 show, with more than 6,000 healthcare professionals in attendance.

The live tracking system reduces unnecessary site traffic and improves response time. Electricians no longer waste time visiting stands that are not ready for power or waiting for other work within the block. The result is better coordination, faster issue resolution, and fewer miscommunications during high-pressure installation periods.

The new tool is now part of Exhibit 3Sixty’s core show support package and will be rolled out at future exhibitions where the company acts as main contractor.
